5 DAYS ... 2 many!

We have had an interesting last week. For starters our good friends were in town, for a sad reason, but we were glad to see them. We spent a good few hours with them. That was nice, and then later that week, more like the next weekend Nick got a phone interview for a job. Well it went well. Two days later the job called him and told him he was picked to work for them. Well so now we are off to Boise Id. Not really the place I thought I would go for his job, but happy to go. We have family there, we aren't to far away from family here in Utah, and I have a friend that lives there. Oh and most important the Disney store is there. That's right I will be close to the Disney store, I'm so excited. =) Its really pretty up where we are looking. Nick is leaving on Sunday because he has to be there by Monday and he can't leave Saturday its our 8th Anniversary.
Gabriel just turned 7 on the 20th, the funny thing was we found out on Gabe's birthday we got the job. So his birthday party was a birthday/yea we got a job party. Any excuse for a party works for us.
So now comes the funness of packing again. I just did this 5ish months ago. Oh well most of it is already packed so this should be easy. Nick will be working up at Boise University. with the USGS. That is what he wants to do. So he can look for jobs when he starts this one, they have jobs for just people in the USGS. The job he has is temperary, so we will take it one day at a time. Its going to be hard to leave family and friends, but we will keep track of them all and we will come down every once in a while, Nick still has guard every months. Spencer is going to have a hard time leaving Aunt Jenny's school class, but we will keep her posted on what he is doing in his new school.
So all and all this weekend has been sad and very very happy.

Well not alot has been going on. Spencer just got glasses, his first week wearing them. He was so worried about wearing them at school. He asked me what he was to do at recess. It was funny. I told him that you just wear your glasses all the time. He was taking them off to eat and everything. EmmaLyn got to ride the train today with Dad. Her first time on a train. I wish Dad had the camera to take pictures. She got to go on the train with Dad to work. Aunt Cristie picked her up to play with Hannah. Then she got to ride home with Dad on the train again. She loved it. Gabe is reading...well Mom really is reading most of it, but he is reading Frindle, cute book. He wants to ready Harry Potter. So here is the picture of Emma hula hooping like I promised, its funny. It didn't take her too long to master the hula hoop, we will see how long it takes her to do the jump rope.

So funniest thing this week. Sometime this week Gabriel told Emma about the private areas. She was playing with me and she told me her girlie part was called a battery! I don't get it but boy did I loose some calories, that was so funny, so Dad has to sit down and talk with Gabe. It wasn't bad what he said but he needs to know all that fun stuff. Good Luck Dad! I took Spencer to the eye doctor Tuesday, and yes he was blind. He is getting glasses, so when we get those I will post a picture of my cute little 4 eyes. School is well on its way and the boys are loving their classes. Spencer's in Aunt Jenny's class and Gabe loves his teacher. They are both doing good so far, but we have only been there for 2 weeks. I went to a card swap yesterday and holy cow they were really really cute. The trouble with going to this card swap thing every other month is that I just collect the cards. I have a hard time useing some of them, they are so cute. It does inspire me to be creative.
Gabriel's birthday is rapidly coming. I can't believe he is turning 7. He woke up one day and started counting down his Birthday. It snuck up on me. Nick and I are going to be married for 8 years this month, wow where has the time gone. We are still struggling like no other but we are blessed with the family we have and our health.
Our garden gave us some corn on the cob, but the beattles got to our other stuff and the wind the other night knocked everything down, so we are going to get what we thought. It was fun to do for a while, Nick loved that garden. Me not so much.

Crazy Weekend

Well what a crazy time lately. This last weekend was kinda fun, Thursday the family and Aunt Tiffin and Aunt Cristie, Uncle Pat and Hannah and Logan went to the Ogden Days Rodeo, It was well what can I say about Rodeos? they aren't my favorate but this was ok. Gabe couldn't wait to see the bull riding and they had the motor cross at the end they were doing crazy flips off the ramps, it was really cool. It was really hot we had a spray bottle and boy did the kids like that, they took turns spraying each other. The next day Nick's Favorate Aunt and Uncle were in town so we went to his dad house to hang with them. We love it when we get to see Uncle Richard and Aunt Betty. We just hung out and talked...well that is until Grandma Katie and Aunt Betty thought it would be fun to play a game. Well out came the buckets of water. You guessed it she got water guns and water and handed the guns to the little kids. I was wet in a minute. The reason I got wet so fast is she gave water guns to Nick and his brother. We had a lot of fun.. The boys started school last week. Its been interesting to get into the routine of things.
Brian just came back from China and oh boy it was like Christmas! I got seasons 1-4 of Ghost Whisperer. i love that show. and a new purse.
I know there was more I wanted to write but I can't focus. Its almost 9 pm and I am watching Ghost Whisperer and I am making cookies for Robbie, and I am triing to remember what color I''m coloring Grandma's hair tomorrow. I swear the things that goes though my head. Its so crazy.. I will post Pictures as soon as I find the cord to the camera. Have a good night all

Back to School

Well today is the start of a new year!!! Wow I just can't believe my kids are getting so big. Spencer is in 4th grade. Wow, this year he has Mrs. Malan aka (Aunt Jenny) Brook is in his class too. They are going to have a fun year. He has a computer on his desk. Times sure have changed. Gabriel is in 2nd grade. Wow to think he's made it that far. He was a little nervous to be going to school today, he didn't think he was going to know anyone. We walked into his class and a kid screamed his name and ran to give him a hug! well if he doesn't know anyone, those are the crazist strangers around! =) I think he'll be ok. They have early out today. Sometimes I wonder why we even send them to school some days. It will be fun to hear what the day was like for them, I know what Family Home Evening is going to be about tonight. Spencer is going to miss the 3rd day of school, he has Scout camp then (day camp)
My mind is so random, I'm triing to organize it but no success. Emma hasn't really had a big issue with the boys off to school and her stuck at home with mom. She has a problem with that all the time, not just with the boys at school, she always likes to go somewhere. Aunt Lenny's is her favorate. She goes there at least twice a week for a few hours so I can go to work. Today Emma is enjoying the time with Ned, She just got walkie talkies for her birthday so they are up stairs making noise with them.
Nick is still triing to find a career, You know I never thought it would take this long to find a job after someone spent 3-5 years at school. What the luck we have. You would think bad luck would counteract bad luck and you would get good luck, but that doesn't work!

Starting this blog is going to be interesting. Well this weekend I've spent time with my family, and that is always interesting. Angela is up from California and we are hangin out at Brandy's house. I cut Ginny hair like nat's hair( a cute bob)

Us girls are funny. Mimi wanted a picture and what can you say we can't take normal pictures.

The summer is here and I have nothing to do. I work a couple days a week, but other then that I stay at home. I had to get rid of my cable and boy let me tell you that sucks. Being poor is not cool. But the summer isn't a big deal my shows don't come on for a little bit. The boys start school on Monday, boy I can't wait. I think they need to find something to do.

We just had EmmaLyn's Birthday, She is 4 years old. She is getting so big.
